(Get it Girl stamp by Kelly Purkey)
I was talking with my brother last night about all the things that are going on in my life. I told him that I could sum up this year in a three words:unorganized, unfocused, and uncreative. He told me that I need to stop focusing on what I am NOT doing and start thinking differently. Try this, he said "reorganize, refocus, and create."
The problem that I have is that I overwhelm myself with information and then I tell myself that I will start tomorrow or Monday. What I mean by "I overwhelm myself with information" is that if I want to redesign my blog, I will research everything I can about designing a blog and by the time I am done I am so overwhelmed that I put it off.
I have not been able to focus for some time now and that is the biggest part why I stopped blogging. This year I felt like I lost my blogging voice and was unclear where I wanted my blog to go. I thought if I started a new blog this would help me blog again, but that's not it. What I need to do is take my brothers advice and reorganize, refocus, and create. Or, in the wise words of Oprah Winfrey, "Be thankful for what you have; you'll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don't have, you will never, ever have enough."
