GG: That smile melts my heart every time. He love to smile and talk about his day with everyone, but mainly with his daddy.
All last year there were a ton of mom bloggers taking weekly portraits of their kids and I thought it was a really cool idea. Now that I have a son I decided to take part in the 52 portraits this year.
It's a New Year. A fresh start. A new chapter in life waiting to be written. New questions to be asked, embraced, and loved. Answers to be discovered and then lived in this transformative year of delight and self-discovery.
Three hundred sixty-five bright mornings and starlit evenings; fifty-two promising weeks; twelve transformative months full of beautiful possibilities; and four splendid seasons. A simply abundant year to be savored.
This is my third year taking part in One Little Word with Ali Edwards. In the past, my words were focus and choose and I am happy to add FINISH to the list of words this year.
I decided to go with the word finish because somewhere along the way I became lazy with every area of my life. I would start projects and not finish them. I would say I was going to do something and then never do it. I even wrote posts on my blog declaring my goals and then letting myself down.
At the end of 2013, I was tired of being lazy and tired of having half finished projects all around our house. On one of our many road trips, I told my husband that I was going to finish everything I started in 2014 and then it hit me that finish should be my word. It will BE the word to carry me through 2014.
"Take a leap of faith and begin this wondrous new year by believing. Believe in yourself. And believe that there is a loving source-a sower of dreams-just waiting to be asked to help you make your dreams come true." ~ Simple Abundance: A Daybook Of Comfort Of Joy
I am really exited about 2014 because we have so many GREAT things in the works. It is totally different starting the new year off with a new little family. 2013 brought so many great things into my life and I am so thankful for all of them (mostly my husband and son).
I would really like to bring this space back to life this year with a fresh look and new content. Now that I am a mom I have so many new ideas for the blog. It is and will always be a PERSONAL blog.
