I am not sure that I blogged about shattering my iPhone last month, but I did and I had to get a new phone. I went with the HTC inspire because I was about to get on early upgrade, but you cannot upgrade to the same phone you already have. I do have to say, I love my new phone a lot.
As you all know, I am leaving for New York City tomorrow and I wanted to share with you the apps that I will be using while I travel.
Evernote: I am using this app to stay organized. I have my flight info, my packing list, to-do and to see list, my knitting pattern that I working on, and whatever else I will need to this trip. I blogged about Evernote here.
Goby: is a search engine focused on exploring fun things to do with your free time, from taking a unique vacation to creating this weekend's adventure.
Hopstop: is your city transit guide. We provide door-to-door subway and bus directions and maps for several metropolitan cities. You can also search for places to eat, drink, sleep and see in the City Guide.
Yelp: is a great way to find places to eat, coffee shops, stores etc...
Sit or Squat: A place to find and record bathrooms all around the world.
Foursquare:is a location-based mobile platform that makes cities easier to use and more interesting to explore. By “checking in” via a smartphone app or SMS, users share their location with friends while collecting points and virtual badges.
