I am working on a big project! It's called "The Beekeeper's Quilt." The quilt is made of little stuffed honeycombs that are sewn together at the end.
I am knitting the honeycombs a little bigger then that pattern calls for, but I will still be knitting 384. One of my goals this month is to knit 62 honeycombs. I would like this quilt to be finish by this summer.
I was going to use scrap yarn that I had, but I did not want it to be so miss matched. I decided to go with black and white and add a little glitter to it as well. The third color has gold glitter in the yarn (can't tell in photos.)
The Plan:
I choose to make monthly goals of how many honeycombs I will knit
I choose to blog an update at the end of each month
I choose to knit 2 honeycombs everyday until the quilt is finished
I choose to enjoy this project
What big project are you working on?
Oh, good luck with that!

I can't wait to see the final result! I love knitted quilts, but actually don't have the patience to make one or myself..

This seems like a daunting task! I'm positive it will turn out beautifully, though!

At the end of each month I plan on sewing the honeycombs I have knitted together. I hope that way it will keep me motivated to get it done.

Thats what I thought at first and was unsure that I even wanted to start it, but so far I love knitting these little honeycombs. It's small enough that I can take it on the go with me.
