To sit here and think that my Baby Boy is going to be turning one year old this month is mind-blowing. I can’t even believe how fast this year has gone by, and this has led me to take everything as it comes, which is usually easiest when I take things one month at a time. Like many new parents, we celebrate the Baby’s birthdate monthly, so a month-to-month timeframe just makes sense for us right now...
In my post last week I talked about how I was starting to feel like my monthly goals were all starting to sound the same. While this remains true, I still feel like I need some kind of list of goals to go by because I am a list person through and through. That being said, I would much rather consider the things I would like to accomplish as a set of “monthly goals” instead of having a laundry list of “things to do."
We have a busy month ahead of us with celebrating and traveling, but I still want to be creative and get a few projects done. My monthly goals for October are to finish one project each weekend. Here is a list of the projects that I would like to finish this month:
- Catch up on Project Life (23 weeks behind)
- Refinish our bar cart
- Finish knitting the sweater I am working on
- Start a winter balcony garden
I love the idea of monthly goals, I really need to get my act together and actually start making them. Also happy (early) birthday to you little one!
