I have been reading Elise Blaha blog for many years now and when she start writing her "currently" post's it kind of took the blog scene by storm. More and more bloggers have been writing out their "currently" post's, including myself. I love the idea of documenting what I am doing right now. Also, last month Ali Edwards invited 52 Lifts Newsletter readers to play along with a journaling prompt about “Currently,” “Around Here,” or “Right Now” and post on a blog or create a layout to share. I took part last month and I think this is something that I want to do every month.
Feeling sick. I went to the doctor yesterday for a few reasons, but one of them was because I have a sore throat and wanted to make sure that I did not have strep.
Loving cut-off jean short with tights and ankle boots. This seem to be my go to outfit everyday. I need to learn to dress it up a little more so that I don't look like I am stuck in the 90's
Watching 30 Rock. I love this show! I feel like I am funny after I watch it and sometimes I am funny.
Knitting the Aidez sweater that was published in Berroco Peruvia. I am just getting started on this sweater and so far I needed a little help. I don't need help because it is a hard pattern more because I am knitting it on piece and I need to do a little math. Maybe I should not have used the word "hard."
Wearing Kate Spade Twirl. I love it! It makes me feel pretty.
Planning a BIG surprise!
Realizing that I need to use two types of calendars. I need to write in down (Filofax) and use Google calendar. I have been forgetting a lot of plans this year because I am not on top of my calendar.
Starting to workout again. This is an ongoing battle with myself. I don't like the way I feel so I workout. I start to get lazy so I stop working out.
Finding when people use the word "neat" bugs me. Mr. "are you at work?" Me. "yes" Mr. "neat." I don't know why it bugs me so much, but it really does. I kind of hate it.
Listening to This American Life because I still need to add music to my iPhone.
What are you currently doing?

After this weekend, I am even more excited about summer. I am ready for the sun, picnic's, iced coffee, bike rides and much more.
Let's talk about documenting your summer. I am all about documenting everyday life. This summer is going to full of amazing things and I want to make sure I have a record of it all.
There are many ways that you can document your summer. I have made a little list for you ;)
Paper Journal: I love me a good old paper journal. This is a great way to remember stories and taking notes of things throughout your day. I wrote a post on Journaling here. I love these journals.
Project Life:This has taking over the scrapbooking world this year. I am even taking part in Project Life. This back-to-basics approach to scrapbooking appeals to the person who's never made a scrapbook in their life as well as those with experience because it allows you to feel the freedom that comes from letting go of the "guilt" that so many associate with the memory keeping process.
Mini Summer Journals: The lovely blogger Elise makes these wonderful mini books to track your summer. I am so in love with her mini books that I buy them all the time. You can read how she used her summer mini last year here.
Blogging: This is a GREAT way to track your summer. Most of us do this already so this one should be easy.
I normally do a little bit of blogging, paper journal and a mini book to document my everyday life. I know this summer I am going to do a little of all the above.
Once you have decided what medium you are going to use to document your summer-- you then need to be able to tell your story. There are a few ways that you can use to tell your story. You can use words, take photos and or do a little bit of both. I love words and photos.
Telling your Story: Sometimes we find it hard to tell our story. I have sat down at the computer before just staring at the blank screen. Ali Edwards offers a Self-paced class called "Storyology" and she talks about ways to tell your story. It is really wonderful.
Capturing the moment: In order for you to capture the moment you need to have your camera with you at all times. Since doing the Spring photo challenge I have not left home without my camera in a month. You never want to miss a GREAT shot!
Documenting on the go: As long as you have your journal and your camera-- you are all set. Now it is up to you to pull them out and take photos and notes ;)
What are some of your plans for this summer? How are you going to document your summer?

Summer is right around the corner and for some reason I am really excited. It might be because I get two weeks off at the end of June or maybe because it's my last summer in San Francisco. I am just EXCITED!
I thought I would make summer goals this year because I want it to be the BEST summer EVER! Without a doubt, I know I am going to have fun-- my friends like to do fun stuff all year round, but summer seems to be the funnest with my group.
My (fun) goals for Summer 2012
Go to the park for lunch during the week- I sit at a desk for 8 hours a day and a lot of the time I never ever go outside. Sad? I know! I want to walk to the park and eat lunch on a blanket and take in this beautiful city I live in. My view from the park that I work by is the Golden Gate Bridge.
Go to a show at the Greek Theater, Berkeley- it is outdoors and if it is a nice night it is one of the most magical places to see a show. I saw Band of Horses and Fleet Foxes there.
Wear pretty summer dresses- I have started to love wearing dress and I want to do more of that this summer.
Take part in The Color Run- My friends Eryn, CAL and I are going to run The Color Run in August and we are all excited.
Go to a lake and go swimming- I want to spend a day at a lake swimming with friends.
Take a road trip- I would love to get away for the weekend with a friend. A little mini road trip would be fun.
Most of all I want to... drink iced coffee, swing on swings, laughing until I cry, see a movie at the park, drink beer, eat cheeseburgers, go to a baseball game, be outdoors, take in the sunshine, ice cream cones, watermelon, night bike rides, kitchen dance parties, BBQ's, being with friends and family, and loving every minute of every day this summer.
Next week on the blog I have a lot of summer stuff planed. Here is a little outline of what to expect.

Day Seven of Week in the Life project was a little bit of a bust. I took one photo the whole day and I have a some what good reason... I was super hungover. Living on a prayer can take a lot out of you ;)
I spent most of the day in bed watching movies and sleeping. To be honest, I love staying in bed all day and watching movies every now and then. Even when the sun is shining my bed will call me and I get lost under the covers.
I really did enjoy this project and I hope that I can continue to take photos of my daily life everyday. My new boyfriend is my camera :) I have been getting to know him and learning new things. I will be sharing a lot of my spring photos soon.
